The boyfriend jeans and blazer look is one of my favourites. I love that it is a mix of classic and edgy, can be dressed up or down, and can be worn pretty much anywhere.
Mixing casual, less expensive pieces with that one (or in this case two) expensive pieces, that you have saved up for, is all part of the fun, and this look is a great example of that. Who said a great outfit has to break the bank.
The blazer and heels being your more expensive, classic pieces that will never date, and that are truly an investment to your wardrobe. And, the tank and boyfriend jeans being the less expensive, simple but edgy pieces that you can mix and match with your high-end pieces.
I am also a huge fan of outfits that can go from smart to casual or vise versa, with a very small change. In this case, for a more casual look, swap the heels for sneakers, and that easily you have another outfit. This transition would be great for traveling. Travel in the sneakers and still look chic while being comfortable. But, have those heels on standby so that you walk off the plane looking effortlessly stylish.
A good blazer and a hot pair of boyfriend jeans are both versatile wardrobe essentials that you can use to make so many amazing outfits. So invest wisely girls.
