Now that it’s warming up and spring is fading into the heat of the summer months, transitional outfits are no longer needed, and we can get right into the mix of summer.
There is something dreamy about summer. When you think of summer, do lazy waves and endless sandy beaches come to mind? Maybe somewhere exotic, like Greece? Well, the good news is, you can be swept up in your very own Fashionista’s Fairy Tale …just by dressing the part.
Summer is our chance to flirt with loosely fitting, flowing pieces, and swap the deeper colours and heavier fabrics for a lighter fashion palette. This Grecian look is one of my favourites for summer, as it embraces fresh whites and soft neutrals that drape and skim our silhouettes so effortlessly. However, this look is also very soft and feminine, and could be slightly ethereal as well.
The delicate oyster tone of the dress gives it a soft, whimsical, fairy tale feel, but the way the chiffon is gathered and how it falls, stays true to the Grecian look. So, this dress gives you the best of both worlds and immediately becomes even more versatile.
This unique number can very easily be worn smart or casual depending on how you choose to accessorise, and the loose sleeves will keep you cool on summer days, or warmer on cool summer evenings, as well as being slightly more conservative if that is what you are going for. So, this is a must have piece to add to you summer essentials, and to get some good use out of this summer.
