New Years Resolutions Renewed

To think, we are already in April, and pretty much a 1/3 into 2018 is crazy. And it’s round about this time every year where many of us fall off the band wagon, especial after all the Easter eggs! So it’s time to get back on track and renew our New Years resolutions.

Four effective ways to get back on track are:

Firstly, get rid of those extra Easter eggs! Of course let your hair down a little over Easter and indulge, but, if you are a chocoholic like me, you won’t be able to rest until all that chocolate has been eaten. So after the weekend I always give my extra Easter eggs away.

Track your food intake. When I fall off my healthy eating train I always find that it helps to go back to doing a food journal or tracking my food on a health app. It helps to keep your calories where they should be and get you back on track again.

Drink more water. Often when we are hungry, our bodies are asking for water. So always drink some water first before grabbing something to eat.

Make a weekly fitness schedule. I don’t know about you, but if I am organized and have my workouts scheduled for the week I will make sure to do them. And, working out makes me feel good and encourages me to eat well too, so for me making time to exercise is essential.

These tips are definitely helping me refocus and remind myself what I set out to better this year. So, I hope they are useful in helping you renew your New Years resolutions too.

Peace and Love

PS. lets talk about this outfit. You may recognize this Tee from my post, 10 Ways to Build Self-Confidence , and that is because i love mixing and matching my clothes and stretching my wardrobe.

This is one of my favourite casual looks. There is nothing better, and more effortless, that jeans and a tee with sneakers, and if its a bit chilly, a stylish jacket to throw on as well. So, while you are getting back on track and back to smashing your New Years Resolutions again, there is nothing wrong with looking stylish too. A good outfit can also be a motivating factor to inspire us to get back on track too, hey girls.
